Horseback Riding & Estancia Experience
Today we head to Estancia Lazo in Torres del Paine for an authentic ranch experience. We'll go horseback riding through ancient lenga forests and open grasslands with incredible views of the Paine Massif. The guides are great with all skill levels, so whether you're experienced or it's your first time, you'll feel comfortable. The highlight is a traditional Patagonian lamb BBQ (asado) where you'll taste slow-cooked lamb prepared the authentic way. We might also see sheep herding demonstrations and learn about the ranching culture that's been here for generations.

Scenic Viewpoint Hike
We'll wake up early to catch the sunrise. If the weather cooperates, we'll head to a viewpoint recommended by our local guides for that magical golden hour light on the peaks. After breakfast, we tackle two different hikes today. First up is Mirador Cóndor, an easier 3 km trail with sweeping views of the park and hopefully some Andean condors soaring overhead. Then we hike to Mirador Cuernos for stunning views of the iconic 'horns' of Paine, those dramatic granite spires that make this place so special. These shorter hikes let us experience different parts of the park while building up for the longer treks ahead.

Distance: 8 km (5 mi)
Elevation Gain: 200m (656 ft) gain

Wildlife Observation & Chileno Camping
This morning we'll spend time with local guides looking for wildlife. Keep your eyes open for guanacos (they look like llamas), Patagonian gray foxes, and condors circling above. If we're really lucky, we might spot signs of pumas, though they're super shy. After lunch, we hike through beautiful lenga forests and alpine meadows to Chileno Camping. This is an easier day by design because we're positioning ourselves for tomorrow's big sunrise hike to the Base of the Towers. Everything you need for camping will be provided, so you can just enjoy being out in nature and getting ready for the main event.

Distance: 5.5 km (3.4 mi)
Elevation Gain: 150m (492 ft) gain
Duration: 2 hours

Sunrise at the Base of the Towers
This is it—the crown jewel of Torres del Paine. We'll wake up before dawn to hike to the base of the three iconic granite towers for sunrise. The final hour is steep, climbing over boulders, but when you reach the top and see those massive towers glowing pink in the morning light, reflected in the turquoise glacial lake below, you'll understand why this is one of the most photographed spots in all of Patagonia. It's absolutely breathtaking. After soaking it all in, we'll head back down to Chileno, pack up camp, and hike to Torres Central before transferring back to Puerto Natales for a well-deserved celebratory dinner.
Trail Details:
Distance: 15.2 km (9.4 mi) total
Elevation Gain: 600m (1,968 ft) gain
Duration: 6.5 hours total

Scenic Drive from Chile to Argentina
Today we cross from Chilean to Argentine Patagonia on a beautiful 7-hour drive. You'll see the landscape shift from Chile's windswept steppes to Argentina's dramatic peaks as we enter Los Glaciares National Park. We arrive in El Chaltén, the trekking capital of Argentina, a cozy mountain village sitting right beneath Mount Fitz Roy. After checking in and settling down, you'll have time to explore the village, grab a coffee at one of the local cafes, and rest up for tomorrow's big hike.

Fitz Roy Hike to Laguna de los Tres
Get ready for one of Patagonia's most iconic hikes. We're trekking 22 kilometers to Laguna de los Tres at the base of Mount Fitz Roy. The trail takes us through ancient lenga forests, across rocky paths, and into alpine meadows. The final steep climb to the viewpoint is challenging, but when you see Mount Fitz Roy towering above the turquoise glacial lake, you'll know it was worth every step. The lake makes a perfect spot for a picnic and photos. On the way back, the landscape looks completely different, giving you new perspectives of this incredible place. After the hike, we transfer to El Calafate, the gateway to the glaciers.
Trail Details:
Distance: 22 km (13.7 mi)
Elevation Gain: 800m (2,625 ft) gain
Duration: 9 to 10 hours

Perito Moreno Glacier Experience
Today is all about the glacier. We start with a scenic drive to Los Glaciares National Park, then take a boat across the turquoise waters of Lake Rico. As we get closer, you'll hear the glacier cracking and groaning—it's one of the few glaciers in the world that's still advancing. Once we land, guides will fit us with crampons and helmets, and then we're walking on the glacier itself. We'll see deep blue crevasses, towering ice walls, crystal-clear streams, and even ice caves. It's surreal. After our time on the ice, we visit the famous viewing platforms for panoramic views of the glacier's massive face. If we're lucky, we might see huge chunks of ice calving off into the lake. We'll wrap up the day with a farewell dinner, sharing stories and memories from this incredible journey.
